The Pyrapreg Consortium was represented (by DRC and Mali) at the financial and project management training organized by EDCTP from 17 to 18 October 2019, in Libreville (Gabon). The main objectives of this workshop were:
- To help participants improve their understanding of key financial management terms and principles, understand the internal control and risk management implications of some of the decisions they take, and understand the importance of putting in place sound financial management systems.
- To equip participants with skills and knowledge on how to effectively and efficiently manage collaborative projects with multiple international collaborators, and how to deliver the intended objectives of the project on time and within budget.
The attending teams gained valuable knowledge, helpful for the management of the Pyrapreg and other EU-funded projects.
